Hey y'all! My name is Katie Rumfelt and I am excited to serve as this year’s President of Gamma Phi Beta. I am from Charlotte, North Carolina and an Honors dual degree student majoring in both Apparel Merchandising, Design and Production and Business Administration. I love being able to serve such an amazing sisterhood and am so excited to welcome you into the joy of truly what it means to be a woman of Gamma Phi.

 

This chapter is more than just an organization; it is a place where you will find support, friendship and opportunities to grow into the best version of yourself. From the moment recruitment began, Gamma Phi Beta stood out and made me feel at home. I encountered a sisterhood that embraced me for who I am, filled with laughter and realness, motivating me to be the best I can be. I've been incredibly fortunate to share my journey at Auburn University with these remarkable women, and so thankful to Gamma Phi for bringing me my best friends!

 

Our members represent a diverse array of hometowns and interests, contributing to various facets of university and community life. Whether it's involvement in the Financial Management Association, Diamond Dolls, Auburn Tiger Paws, Student Government Association or leadership roles in their faith communities, Gamma Phis are everywhere, embodying a spirit of service and commitment.

 

Gamma Phi is not just a sisterhood; it's a source of constant support and love. Since Bid Day in 2023, I've cherished the bonds formed with my roommates and closest friends. They uplift me, spur me on, and Gamma Phi has played a pivotal role in shaping my personality and leadership journey.

 

Whether you're a new student, an active member, an alumna or simply a fan of Auburn University, my advice is to embrace meaningful connections, seize opportunities, say “Yes!” and uplift others along the way. As President, I aim to uphold the values and essence of sorority life, with gratitude to the women who entrust me with this leadership role.
