Our Philanthropic Mission
The philanthropic focus of Gamma Phi Beta is “Building Strong Girls!” We are deeply passionate about this cause because we recognize the growing challenges young girls face today. Now more than ever, they need safe spaces and supportive mentors to help them thrive. Girls benefit from strong, empowering role models—and Gamma Phi Betas are proud to be those women.
The Gamma Phi chapter holds our philanthropy very dear to our hearts. Every day, we strive to build strong girls—whether through fundraising efforts, community service, or simply being positive influences to young girls in our own lives. We believe that empowering girls to grow into confident women has the potential to strengthen not only our communities, but the world.

GAMMA PHI BETA LOVES GIRLS ON THE RUN
Gamma Phi Beta is the proud National Sponsor of Girls on the Run International, a nonprofit organization that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. At the end of the semester, the girls hit the street and run a 5k in their area to demonstrate all that they have learned and accomplished.
Our chapter proudly partners with Girls on the Run by supporting our local Auburn teams! Several of our members serve as coaches for the local programs, creating meaningful relationships and guiding young girls through the experience. It’s incredibly rewarding to see our sisters’ dedication reflected in the growth and confidence of the girls they mentor.
Beyond coaching, we get involved in fun and creative ways—making signs, crafting tutus, and doing whatever we can to help build excitement for race day. Some of our sisters even run alongside the elementary and middle school girls, cheering them on every step of the way! Others fill the sidelines, rooting for them by the finish line to help the girls finish strong.
We love seeing the impact this program has—not only on the girls we coach, but also on the members of Gamma Phi Beta!
